Respect for people

RIALTI implements best practices to ensure health and safety in the workplace by strictly complying with the relevant legislation and encouraging responsible behaviour. Our dedication to ensuring workplace health and safety was confirmed when we gained BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification in 2017. This is the globally recognised framework for certifying a Health & Safety Management System in the workplace. We already have plans to meet the requirements for the new ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system by the end of 2018.

Respect for the environment

RIALTI is based in an area of outstanding natural beauty which is popular with tourists. Being in such a unique setting makes us even more determined to protect and safeguard the environment, which is why we gained ISO 14001:2015 certification for our environmental management system.

Minimise waste

Our highly automated production processes are designed to minimise any waste of resources by using clean energy and reducing our emissions. By making considerable investments in our facilities, we have drastically cut our use of electricity and water and considerably reduced our environmental emissions. We also use photovoltaic systems to generate power from 100% renewable sources.

One of our main goals is to keep improving all our processes in accordance with the environmental policies which play an increasingly important role in safeguarding the future for all of us. These improvements and upgrades also form part of our commitment to consistently giving customers even better value for money.

OCS program - Operation Clean Sweep

OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP is an international program launched to prevent the unintended dispersion of granules, flakes and dusts into the environment during the production, transportation or storage operations. RIALTI S.p.A., coherent with its willingness to operate according to the most commonly recognised ethical values and with its deep awareness of environment-related issues, has accepted the invitation of the association Clean Sea Life (http://cleansealife.it) to deepen the project established by: Operation Clean Sweep®.
